As Auto CAD jobs are highly skilled, ideally applicants should have previous CAD experience. However, this is not essential as successful applicants will receive on-the-job training to develop and enhance your skills and knowledge. Having competent computer skills is crucial as CAD jobs are heavily computer based. To effectively use and understand CAD software, a Trainee CAD Designer must have proficient technical skills. CAD Technician jobs are also visually orientated; you will be creating technical 2D and 3D digital drawings, so having an eye for design and a keen attention to detail is imperative.
