Woolwich Creative Arts, Building 19

Building 19 at Woolwich Creative District is coming to the final stages of a successful MEP installation.

Working closely with the site-based team, the MEP model from the consultants has been developed into a clash-free construction issue model with installation drawings produced. Initially, there were issues to overcome as the building is a Grade 2 Listed Building and therefore a different approach had to be taken to ensure the support of services worked with the building.

During the early phases, new philosophies and potential solutions were discussed to enable an efficient install that was accessible and maintainable once the building is handed over to the end-user. As the project draws to its conclusion, the use of Point Cloud scans will be used to enable thorough adaptation of the model to reflect the “as installed” services.
