Topographic surveys are used to identify and accurately map the existing features on or close to the surface such as buildings, trees, walkways, service covers, utility poles, retaining walls, etc.
Topographic surveys also include modelling the ground contours which can be used for a variety of purposes such as developments, volume calculations, highway design, stockpile surveys and planning applications.
